Terms & Conditions

General Information

MBMCo is operated by Merrick Christie‑Osborne.

These Terms & Conditions outline how bookings, payments, cancellations, and services are managed across personal training, massage, personalised plans, and group classes.

Working Hours

Personal training and massage appointments are available during Merrick’s published working hours:

Monday :          6:30am – 7:00pm
Tuesday :         6:30am – 2:00pm
Wednesday :  9:30am – 6:00pm
Thursday :       6:30am – 8:00pm
Friday :             6:30am – 2:00pm


Massage appointments are primarily offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with additional days available at Merrick’s discretion depending on availability.

Weekend appointments for both massage and personal training are available at Merrick's discretion. 

Personal Training Bookings & Payments

Personal Training Bookings & Payments (Monthly)

• Sessions are arranged and payable monthly in advance.
• Planned sessions must be confirmed by the 22nd of each month.
• Invoices are issued on the 25th, and payment (details on invoice) is due by the 29th  of each month (27th February).
• Late or missed payments may result in either loss of day and time slot and / or ancellation of that month’s sessions.


Personal Training Bookings & Payments (Pay‑As‑You‑Go (PAYG)

• PAYG sessions are booked individually and confirmed directly with Merrick via WhatsApp.
• Payment is due at the time of booking to secure the session. Merrick will provide details on how to pay.
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non‑refundable.
• Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled subject to availability.
• PAYG sessions are offered around Merrick’s existing schedule and availability cannot be guaranteed.
• If Merrick needs to cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, he will rearrange the session or issue a refund.

Personal Training Cancellation Policy

  • Attendance must be confirmed via WhatsApp no later than 24 hours before the session.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are non‑refundable.

  • With more than 24 hours’ notice, a reschedule within the same week will be offered (subject to availability).

  • If rescheduling isn’t possible, a refund will be issued.

  • If Merrick cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice, he will rearrange the session or issue a refund.

Group Class Booking Policy

  • Class attendance is confirmed via a WhatsApp poll posted the day before each class.

  • Please only vote when you are certain you can attend.

  • Poll deadlines - Tuesday 8:00pm for Wednesday’s class. Saturday 4:00pm for Sunday’s class

  • Maximum class sizes: 22 on Wednesdays, 14 on Sundays.

  • No new bookings are accepted after the poll closes.

Group Class Cancellation Policy

Cancellations after 2pm on Wednesday or 6pm on Saturday incur a £5 charge, payable within 3 days.

Massage Appointments

Locations

Massage appointments are available either:

• at Merrick’s treatment room (location to be confirmed), or
• as a mobile appointment at the client’s home. Note: clients must provide a clear, quiet space with enough room for the table. Pets and children must be in another room. If the space isn't suitable, the session may not go ahead and will be treated as a late cancellation. 

Availability

Massage sessions are primarily offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with flexibility depending on Merrick’s schedule.

Mobile Massage – Mileage Fee

A mileage fee applies to all home visits. The fee will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Massage Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations of home-based appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice are chargeable at the full session rate.
• Cancellations of treatment space-based appointments with less than 48 hours’ notice are chargeable at the full session rate

• If Merrick cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice, he will rearrange the session or issue a refund.

Health & Safety

Clients must disclose any injuries, medical conditions, contraindications  and allergies before treatment.


Merrick may decline or adapt treatment if he believes it is unsafe.

Personalised Plan (Workout & Nutrition)

  • Personalised workout and nutrition plans are delivered through the My PT Hub app.

  • Payment for plans is required at the time of request.

  • All plans are non‑refundable once delivered, due to the time and customisation involved.

  • Access to plans remains available for as long as the client maintains an active My PT Hub account.

  • Updates or revisions may be chargeable unless included as part of a PT package.

  • Clients are responsible for following plans safely and informing Merrick of any injuries or changes that may affect suitability.

Client Responsibilities

To maximise the results and benefits of working with Merrick, personal training and massage clients agree to:

  • Attend sessions on time

  • Follow payment and cancellation policies

  • Ensure suitable, apprpriate clothing is worn for all appointments

  • Engage fully in sessions

  • Follow guidance on technique and effort

  • Maintain healthy habits inside and outside sessions, including nutrition and independent activity

 

Results vary between individuals and depend on consistency, lifestyle, and personal effort.
